With the aim of bringing together different experiences, characteristics of the demand and evolution of the family tourism segment, since the organization of the First Conference on family tourism in Euskadi, there have been numerous entities specializing in the sector, among which are the Galician Tourism Cluster and the seal Galicia Family Destination.

Our presence at this conference was focused on bringing the experience we have, before more than a hundred experts in the sector, focusing on the creation and development of the seal Galicia Family Destination until today, as it is the only seal in Galicia in this field that accredits 40 companies in the field of accommodation, catering, complementary offer and travel agencies, spread over different parts of the Galician geography, designed for families.

Galicia has everything the tourist is looking for when travelling: security, tranquillity, authenticity, good weather, outdoor activities without the need to travel, good gastronomy, etc., adding value to this tourist attraction that sets it apart from the rest of Spain. That is why it is in the top 5 holiday destinations for families in summer.

For this reason, it is important to point out that in order to create a "Family friendly" tourist destination, marketing, good practices and taking on new challenges are needed, which will result in families feeling at home when travelling. This objective is pursued both by the entities that offer their services to the tourist and by the tourist who travels with his family and hopes to enjoy and have all his needs covered.

Therefore, from the seal Galicia Family Destination will continue working, for the fourth consecutive year, to make Galicia a destination to enjoy with family.
