We interviewed Lucrecia, associated to the label Galicia Destino Familiar, to tell us about her company, the farm school El Kiriko, in Fornelos de Montes (Pontevedra).

1. What is family fun for you?

It is to be able to enjoy together activities that strengthen the union between parents and children.

2. What is the difference between your company and others in the sector that do not specialise in the family sector?

We offer a leisure time for families in a unique environment, surrounded by nature and animals, where it seems that time stops, helping us to forget the rush of our day to day.

3. What does the family tourist stand out most about your company?

The place, the nature that surrounds us, the Galician rural landscape and the contact with our animals.

4. What are the main tourist resources in your area?

The Eiras reservoir, the Barragán route, the fluvial beach.

5.Why is Galicia a good destination for families?

Because it offers a great variety of resources, both for those who like the mountains, and the beach, the cities with their old towns and villages and villages that preserve many of the traditions of rural Galicia.

6. Do foreign families come to your establishment?

Yes, especially in spring and summer.

7. Tell us an anecdote about a tourist family in your establishment.

Two families from Dubai were found, both with Galician roots and who lived in the same area and did not know each other. I think they have made a good friendship, especially between the children.
