We interview José Manuel, associated with the Galicia Destino Familiar label, so he can tell us about his establishment, the Chiringuito Los Pinares (Cabanas, A Coruña).

1. What is family fun for you?

We understand as family fun, when the whole family enjoys the experience and everyone has a good time, eat, laugh, run, jump, play, talk, relax, feel ....

Parents can enjoy their drinks and reading at the end of the meal, the teenager can connect easily, younger siblings can play safely in the hammocks and paint or play in the sand ...

2. What is the difference between your company and others in the sector that do not specialise in the family sector?

Apart from having some services that families with children need for a day at the beach. The children love us and we take care of them and we always have some details for them.

3. What does the family tourist of your company emphasize the most?

That their children always want to go to the Chiringuito los Pinares, because we give them popcorn, jelly beans, we have hammocks for them to have fun and they also love tortillas and rice.

4. What are the main tourist resources in your area?

The area has several tourist resources. We can say that the gastronomic with the paella cabanesa has every day more pull, the Fragas del Eume with all that entails. There are trips on the Anduriño boat along the estuary, there are hiking trails, bike trails, horse riding, kayaking...

We have several that of the article where the children changed the name to the beach and do not call it Cabanas beach they call it José Manuel's beach.

We have one that was starred by Niko, a 9 year old boy, who all of us in Los Pinaresle call the masseur, because he plays masseuse and offers "vip" massages to the whole Los Pinares team, because he says we are his friends and only to us.

The anecdote :

Niko: Who is the Chef? I want to talk to her.

Waiter: Wait Niko, I'll call her.

Niko: Okay.

Chus arrives, he is interested in who asks for her, we tell him that the masseur of the beach bar (Niko) claims her.

Chus: Tell me Niko.

Niko: You have to climb the Milanese because it's delicious, it's spectacular.

Chus: Thanks Niko. Did you like it?

Niko: If you have to climb it, it's cheap. I'll be back tomorrow.

and goes running again to the beach.

8. Why would you recommend being part of Galicia Family Destination?

First because it is behind the Galician Tourism Cluster and that is a guarantee, it is also a platform where you can reach that target of families with children in an easier, direct and larger scale. There is a brand (#Galiciadestinofamiliar) that gives guarantee to the families, there is the possibility of doing Networking with other businesses related to the sector etc.
