For another year, Galicia’s participation in the worldwide known FITUR fair has been a success. More than 350 meetings in which sector’s professionals have exchange its impressions and ideas, which the objective of promoting tourism in our autonomous community.

We have to highlight the staging starring the Galicia Tourism Cluster in which the “New initiatives for the commercialisation of tourism in Galicia” have been presented, in which the attendees could confirm the hard work that is being made for the improvement of the Galician tourist offer. Initiatives that pretend to position Galicia as the destination of choice for tourist profiles, among them Galicia Destino Familiar and its eagerness to make our community in the perfect destination for a select public like families.

And finally, Galicia received in FITUR two of the prestigious awards that this meeting gives. In particular, the community received the award for the Best Stand in the category of institutions and autonomous communities and the Best Product of Active Tourism for its Experiences in Natural Parks, of which we can brag so much in this land.
